Poor Cat

Today some one told my aunt about a cat that is stuck in a tree which is 65ft up and has been there for five days, well six now. My aunt told my mom because me and her volunteered at a cat shelter for 8 years. My mom had tried everything today called CT animal control, they either cannot or will not do anything. Tried fire department and they said that they do not do that anymore which is just cruel because they are just leaving it to die. My mom even tried tree services and still no luck. I feel so bad because this cat has been there for five days with no one even caring and it will most likely die and there is nothing I can do.
